My name is Katie Wagner and I am the Director of Lutheran Campus Ministry (LCM) to UW-Stout.
College is an exciting time and the community we have at LCM is something worth checking out! We have a great group of students who are passionate about sharing our mission of “inviting students to put their faith into action”.
I started as the Director of LCM in May 2014, prior to that, I was a Social Worker at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire, WI. When I’m not spending time with the students at LCM, you may find me in a production at the (world famous!) Mabel Tainter Theater in Menomonie or spending time outdoors with my family and friends. I have a dog, Charlie (see picture below!), who you may see around The Ministry from time to time. I also enjoy canoeing and kayaking, bonfires, reading, playing guitar, singing, laughing, lip sync battles and I am an avid Netflix and Dick Van Dyke enthusiast, among many other things!
Whether you’re starting out as a freshmen at Stout, or finishing up your final semester, you can always find something fun and faith-filled to do at LCM. I hope that you stop by for a visit and see what we’re all about!
I am so excited to meet you all and if you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to ask!
